The second annual MIPLA Bowl IP trivia event was held Wednesday, January 17th at Rock Bottom Brewery. It was a smashing success, and it was even overheard that people were more excited to attend the MIPLA Bowl than the Super Bowl this year. The competition was fierce – there were teams in matching shirts and a tie for first place. The team fielded by Patterson Thuente walked away victorious after being the first to identify the cartoon character whose father is a patent attorney (Calvin, of course). They were rewarded with Love Your Melon hats to keep those big brains warm and the trophy for prominent display at their firm.
