The Corporate and Licensing Practice section addresses issues and the evolving law of IP transactions primarily from an in-house counsel perspective.


IP Law Revision

The IP Law Revision section analyzes changes proposed by the USPTO and provides a forum for enhancing our members' understanding and relationships with the USPTO.

International Law
The International Law Section provides a forum to discuss evolving IP law throughout the world and issues related thereto. The Section frequently hosts foreign attorneys to provide expertise and updates on IP law in their respective countries.

Patent Agents
The Patent Agent Section provides a forum for patent agent practitioners and others to discuss relevant topics in IP law. The Section includes practitioners from all aspects of IP law, including small and large law firms, in-house patent agents, solo practitioners, universities, and students.

Women in Intellectual Property
Started as an informal lunch group in the '80's,  the Women in Intellectual Property Law (WIPLA) Section provides a forum for discussing and advancing knowledge of issues affecting women in the practice of intellectual property law. This section also provides valuable networking resources for women in the IP field.
